Here are some pics of my newly acquired (thanks, Kev) 1997 DBR V-Link Pro Carbon Fiber dualie. It's fully equipped with XTR components that were std. equipment on this year/model, and I believe that this was the ONLY year DBR manufactured this bike in carbon fiber. They introduced the V-Link line in 1996, which consisted of the 1.0, 3.0, and Pro. The following year, they offered the 1.1, 3.1, Pro, and Pro Carbon Fiber. In 1998 they switched their design to the X-Link. My bud Kev switched out the Manitou fork for a sweet Marzocchi Bomber X-Fly 100mm, and the brakes with Tomac-Magura hydraulic brakes. She weighs about 25 lbs.

Cool bike! For the record, there were two years of carbon V-Links: 1997 V-Link Pro (yours) and 1998 V6 Team (the yellow one). The X-bikes came out in 1999.
