I just got back from Interbike. On Demo day I tested 3 two niners. The Third one was a Spot Singlespeed Belt Driven 29er pictured above. The bike handled flawlessly. I locked out the Suspension Fork. The Ritchey stem was maybe a little long and upside down. The spot was wearing Kenda Small Block Eight 29er Sneakers. Those surprisingly hooked up well with no slippage. Even in the loose desert soil.
The Belt Drive was super smooth and quiet. Climbed well.
