I would be worried about it slipping in the drop outs and then it would rotate the hub to such a position that would cause the tire to hit the arch and then… Well over the top. I can’t tell from the picture but does the hub have something to stop this scenario from happening.

The problem with adjusting standard height of suspension fork crowns is all of a sudden stack heights of forks are too tall and it still doesn't solve the problem of v-brake post incompatiblity...

A nice solution to an existing problem, though a better scenario would see the industry set the arch of forks higher to work with 26 or 29, then set travel internal for either.
