Thanks Mr. McGirt! I'll take it considering I am getting to be an old man (late 30's). I just hope I can keep jumping in my late 40's. Take care and good riding!

You don't know me but I built this jump (actully, I did enlist the help of some close friends). In fact, you may not have noticed but I used an old bridge section to build up the lip. I (we) also built the jump next to it w/ the big ol' piece of pipe in it. Anyway, I'm only mentioning this because I'm stoked to see that it is being put to good use. I'm pretty stoked seeing that a bridge drop was put in front of the 2 doubles line.

Sorry, didn't mean to come across the wrong way. Just offering a tip, turn the flash on. No criticism intened. I'm used to some photo sites where comments like that are commonplace. I should have realized this is not that site and here its the biking that matters. Mea Culpa

I bet you could have gotten even higher if you weren't so big. Big bean.

Definitely like the shot, though.

Thank you Ansel Adams, next time I'll hire a real photographer, what was my friend thinking?

Not sure what kind of camera that was, but in backlight situations particularly (ie that one...light source behind your subject) some fill flash is always nice. Effectiveness depends on the camera/flash. If it has a hot shoe an external flash makes your camera soooo much better.
