I had this mate right who bought a Big Hit with monsters and it was ace. Very boingy and squiggy. Took the rough and made it smooth. Bit like my mate. His wish list now contains things like hydrolic fluid, brake hoses and time to ride. Good luck mate.

Its a small frame and feels nice and compact. With the 26" rear it is still stable at speed though

Nice Bike! a good mate of mine's got one v.similar, funny story actually: I'd just bought one myself with monster T's and some other bits and bobs and this friend of mine was drooling over it, anyway a couple of weeks go buy when lo and behold out of nowhere he appears on non other than, yes you guessed it, his very own big hit. How much did he pay for it I hear you scream, well that's the kicker, he'd only gone and won it in a competition. Jammy swine! Makes no odds anyway, he still can't use it properly. Hee Hee. Oh did I say, Nice Bike.

The 24" wheel was good for acceleration and with the 3" Intense tire for barrelling through the rough stuff but the 26" wheel transformed the ride completely. The bike is about 20mm longer which has improved straight line stability but I need a bit more body language on tight corners. Travel has been upped to about 8.9" and the BB has been raised about 5mm. Head and seat angle have also steepened a little. With the sag set properly the angles return to their original position and the BB height fails to be a problem. With the Mojo tuned rear shock and ti spring the suspension travel is very controlled and buttery smooth. When it comes down to feel the bike is just right. I find the handling fantastic and the 12mm bolt through very stiff. I think what I am trying to say is that any big hit owners who want to use proper tyres and improve their bike for DH need this modification.

Oh, I first looked at your Stab photo, but you spent more on this one. You are totally frenzy like me with Betd parts. Niiice. What was the impression you had changing from 24" rear to 26" rear wheel?
